Information from provider

ProviderZhenlin LI
Provider affiliationUniversité Pierre et Marie Curie
Genetic informationThe promoter of SM22 gene (from -2126 to +85) that has been characterized previously (Moessler H et al., Development 1996, 122:2415-25), was linked to the nls-cre recombinase from the beta MHC-Cre plasmid (Parlakian et al, Mol Cell Biol 2004, 24:5281-89). In the transgenic animals, promoter fragment directed cre recombinase expression initially in the heart and the somites of embryos and subsequently in the arteries of the vascular system, but in none of the visceral muscles, nor in the veins.
Phenotypic informationNo observed defects.
