CRISPR Design and Electroporation

Design your own CRISPR course! We will provide a background to CRISPR genome-editing technology and its applications in scientific research. You can then decide either to have practical CRISPR-Cas9 training in embryo electroporation, or an in-depth tutorial on planning and designing CRISPR-Cas9 experiments.

Following the course, you will have:

• An understanding of how the most common CRISPR systems in use work
• A clear understanding of advantages and limitations of genome editing for germline transgenesis
• An ability to design CRISPR-Cas9 experiments with appropriate quality control strategies that are essential for reproducible and robust research or
• Practical experience in using CRISPR-Cas9 in embryo electroporation
